Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) outlines the rules and acceptable conduct for the use of ATOER services and infrastructure. By utilizing any of our services, you acknowledge and agree to abide by this AUP, ensuring that all end users of your account comply with the terms set forth herein. Failure to adhere to this AUP may result in suspension or termination of services. ATOER reserves the right to modify this policy at any time, with such changes becoming effective upon posting on our official website.
1. Prohibited Uses
You may not use ATOER's services, or allow others to use your account, for any unlawful, harmful, or disruptive purposes. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Engaging in any activity that violates any applicable local, state, national, or international law, including data privacy and intellectual property laws.
- Sending, posting, or hosting any fraudulent, abusive, obscene, defamatory, or unlawful material, including child exploitation or pornography, hate speech, or discriminatory content.
- Participating in, or facilitating, activities such as spamming, phishing, or any form of unsolicited bulk communications.
- Engaging in or facilitating activities such as hacking, unauthorized access, or disruption of any networks, systems, or accounts.
- Hosting or facilitating illegal activities such as money laundering, drug trafficking, illegal gambling, or terrorist activities.
- Offering public proxy services or TOR exit nodes, which may result in service misuse or IP blacklisting.
- Using services for distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks, or any actions that harm, disrupt, or overload ATOER’s infrastructure or third-party services.
- Using services to distribute malware, viruses, Trojans, worms, or any form of harmful software.
2. Resource Use
Customers are expected to use ATOER's resources fairly and efficiently. Any excessive use of bandwidth, CPU, storage, or other resources that impacts the performance or availability of services to other users is prohibited. Specific resource-intensive activities include, but are not limited to:
- Cryptocurrency mining or other activities that involve continuous high CPU usage.
- Long-term consumption of bandwidth or server capacity that impacts the overall network performance for other users.
- Operating network acceleration software or misconfigured network tools that violate our performance guidelines.
- Running scripts, applications, or tools designed to probe, scan, or breach other systems without explicit permission from the target network or system.
3. Security Violations
Security is a shared responsibility between ATOER and its customers. You agree not to perform, or allow others to perform, any actions that would compromise the security or integrity of our services or infrastructure. This includes:
- Unauthorized access to or use of systems, data, or networks, including any attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of a system without prior consent.
- Interception or monitoring of data or traffic on networks without explicit authorization from the owner of the system or data.
- Attempting to circumvent security protocols or protections on systems or networks, including encryption, firewall settings, or access control measures.
4. User Responsibility
Customers are responsible for the use of their accounts and must ensure that all actions taken under their account comply with this AUP. This includes:
- Maintaining the confidentiality and security of their account credentials, including passwords and keys.
- Ensuring that all end-users of the account adhere to the terms of this AUP and other applicable policies.
- Promptly reporting any security breaches or unauthorized use of services to ATOER.
- Implementing appropriate measures to secure their systems and applications, such as firewalls, encryption, and authentication protocols.
5. Suspension and Termination
ATOER reserves the right to suspend or terminate your services if we determine that you or your end-users are in violation of this AUP. Depending on the severity of the violation, suspension or termination may occur immediately, without notice. Repeated violations may result in permanent termination of your account.
In case of violations, ATOER will provide, where possible, details of the infraction and steps required for reinstating services. However, ATOER is not obligated to provide advance notice for actions deemed necessary to protect the integrity of our infrastructure or comply with legal obligations.
6. Reporting Violations
If you believe that any user of ATOER services is violating this AUP, you may report the violation by contacting our abuse department at [email protected]. We will investigate all claims of abuse and take appropriate action to ensure compliance with this policy.
7. No Spam Policy
ATOER maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards unsolicited commercial email (UCE) or spam. Any account found to be involved in the sending of spam or UCE will be immediately suspended and may be permanently terminated. Additionally, you may be required to pay fines or other fees associated with spam-related activities, including damages to our infrastructure or reputation.
8. Legal Compliance
You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including, but not limited to, data protection laws, intellectual property rights, and communications regulations. ATOER may disclose your account information or content if required by law, governmental request, or legal process, without prior notice to you.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ATOER, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the services, violation of this AUP, or infringement of any intellectual property or other rights of any person or entity.
10. Modifications to the AUP
ATOER reserves the right to modify or update this Acceptable Use Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of the services after any changes have been made constitutes your acceptance of the updated AUP.
